In honor of my father this build is a recreation of the 1973 Ram’s Head, but with tighter part standards and top grade components. This is the closest sounding Big Muff to the one David Gilmour used in his live rigs, both solo and with Pink Floyd.

Film and Ceramic Capacitors, Metal Film Resistors and 2N3904 Transistors.

This model uses Film Capacitors for the larger values and Ceramic for the others for a modern build on this beautiful classic. Parts during that era were unreliable and out of spec, so using the top shelf grade we use on all of our models makes sure you have a fuzz machine that lasts and stays consistent for years to come. Originally built in honor of my father that absolutely loved Pink Floyd, I wanted to build the closest model Gilmour used.
